Codecademy powers one of the most engaging communities for tech-enthusiasts around the world and Toronto has now joined the circle! With no boundaries, we welcome everyone to this networking chapter - no matter your location, educational background, or age. Prior programming knowledge is not required to participate in our events!

Whether you’ve been programming for 4+ years or you’ve only recently learned that Python isn’t just a type of snake, visit our events! Meet like-minded peers that share your background and engage with endless possibilities - in this chapter, you choose your adventure. Members from non-technical backgrounds are highly encouraged to join! Here’s a sneak peek of what we provide:

Have an event idea? Send us an email and tell us how we can best support you!

Intermediates: Calling all experienced programmers! Want to further develop your portfolio with peers or lead a technical workshop? Email us for more details!

Beginners: Don't know what programming language to learn or what career path to pursue? Always wanted to attend a hackathon but don't know where to start? Join our Social Byte hours and we'll guide you on where to begin!

Clubs/ Organizations: Want to support your community with workshops? Send us an email and let's collaborate!

We prioritize creating an inclusive community dedicated towards reducing barriers to entry for those interested in engaging with the technology industry. Regardless of gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, age, religion, or socioeconomic status, you will be supported and welcomed. We do not tolerate harassment of any form towards other community members and cases will be dealt with accordingly. Thank you for helping us create a collaboration, not competition, -focussed environment!
