In this meetup, we will go over essential maths concepts using an interactive Foundational Mathematics notebook.

Having recently finished some of my courses, and before moving on to other things that I have set my eyes on, I felt that it was high time to revisit some concepts and cement the basics. As in, crawl before you walk. 


To that end, I started Codecademy's Fundamental Math for Data Science path and have indeed found it rather helpful. Now that I am more than halfway there, I figured it was a good time to get a little interactive and have fun with it, hence the meetup. 


In this meetup, we will start out with freeCodeCamp's Part 1 โ€“ Math in Python curriculum (feel free to download beforehand) and use the interactive notebook provided together. If there is time left over, we can get into any of the other notebooks while we're there. 


Personally, I prefer using notebooks in VS Code and that is what I will be using throughout, though of course you can stay within the Google Colab notebook environment provided by freeCodeCamp, as is. See you there!
