About this event

About this event:

The same name can be spelled in many ways (for example, Marc and Mark, or Elizabeth and Elisabeth). Therefore, Sound can be a better way to match names than spelling. In this project, we will use the Python package Fuzzy to find out the genders of authors that have appeared in the New York Times Best Seller list for Children's Picture books.

The dataset will be uploaded on our GitHub repo a few hours before the event. (it will be announced on our discord)
