Learning the basics of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is the next step on our journey to learning web development after covering the basics of HTML. This beginner workshop will cover the basics of CSS syntax, the box model, positioning, display, positions and typography.
About this event
Web development is one of the premier paths for beginners to start their journey towards becoming a software engineer. Unsurprisingly, web development is a giant field that goes from very basic fundamentals to extremely complex and interconnected technology. When you are just getting started, it can all sound very confusing and overly complicated.
Join us in this workshop as we talk about CSS, the cornerstone of how sites are styled in today's World Wide Web. This workshop will cover the basics of CSS syntax, and then move onto beginner topics such us display and positioning, typography, colors and the box model
