Python Physics

Sun, Jun 20, 7:00 PM (GMT+4)

24 RSVP'ed

Our first meetup discussing the utility of the python programming language for teaching high school physics.

About this event

Python is a programming language used heavily by physics students in higher education. The lack of programming experience in the context of scientific inquiry at high schools has been a common complaint of science departments at universities worldwide. Can high school teachers better prepare their students for careers in STEM by teaching their own subjects through the medium of programming?

In this first meeting we focus on discussing the fundamentals of teaching physics with programming. There will be some resources and examples shared with the group, and the opportunity for the group to participate by showcasing their own examples.

This meeting will be recorded and shared on YouTube for participants unable to attend.
